Notes

This is a rescue. I spotted it in the road, but couldn't get to it right away because of oncoming traffic. A car just barely grazed it. When I got to the snake, it had no outward signs of injury. I bagged it up and took it home, expecting it to be dead later. Unbelievably, the snake survived! It has been eating and drinking with no problem, but something must've happened to its tongue because it won't flick it.
