Notes

Uncommonly seen, this is recognized, by some, as the Southern Green Anole or Pale-Throated Green Anole (Anolis carolinensis seminolus), a subspecies of the common Green Anole. It is found in extreme SW Florida and possesses a light green, instead of the normal red, dewlap. A weak subspecies and more likely a dewlap color phase in a given population. They only seem to occur in this region of Florida, however.
